Had the honor of going to Methodist Women’s Hospital to meet this little sweet pea and her parents for her Fresh 48 session.

I love being able to come up to the hospitals when the babies are so so new! Its the perfect type of session for those families who want professional images from their little one’s arrival but maybe do not want to do a full birth story.
Fresh 48 sessions are named as such because they are done within the first 48 hours of life! I can come as soon as baby arrives or wait until the day or two after. Totally depends on how my mamas are feeling.
I love being able to candidly capture those first moments. I use a combination of natural direction and posing to help guide my families on what to do.
Some ideas for a fresh 48 session:

- First bath
- Meeting the grandparents
- Footprints/Measurements
- Meeting siblings/friends
